Wasteful Watchers Social Marketing

BRIEF:
Develop a social marketing campaign to promote awareness, inform, and inspire action for a social problem.
In collaboration with Jasmine Crisp.

CONCEPT:
Wasteful Watchers is a social marketing campaign to raise awareness about food-waste and what consumers can do to stop wasting and start saving.

The campaign includes: a brand identity, mobile app, website, direct-mail piece, sticker set, transit posters, magazine advertisement, and social media pages.

Some of the messages we wanted to communicate were:
• Take your leftovers “to go” to avoid wasting food
• Donate excess food to local homeless shelters and food scraps to animal shelters
• Only buy what you can use at home when shopping at grocery stores
