Multilayer Paper F

BRIEF:
Create a multi-layer, 3D paper display, for the letter "F" using only white paper.

CONCEPT:
Using 18 layers of paper, I designed a camera lens "focusing" effect around the letter “F.” The layers created shadows and depth, which aided in the overall composition by making it dynamic and visually interesting. "F" was designed to look free flowing yet structured. To create an original letter, I used a slab-serif inspired typeface synthesized with a decorative cursive top.
